Alan was a very loving person. Family and friends have many warm memories of him. He enjoyed motocross racing when he was young, and my mom's favorite memory of him is seeing him win his first race. His winning trophy is her most prized posession.
Alan also enjoyed playing pool, car racing, Pat Benatar's music, and the actress Kirstie Alley. My own favorite memory of Alan is watching "Look Who's Talking" with him, many times over. I was just six when he passed.
Alan was my uncle, and also my godfather. I affectionately called him Uncle Monkey Head :) I miss him dearly. He looked out for me, my brother and sister, and my cousins as well. He was very close to all his family, especially my mother, his eldest sister. He is survived by his daughter Matraca, his mother and siblings, and many other loved ones and friends.
